Stephanie Deshpande sits down with Alfa Art Gallery to discuss her paintings. Stephanie is a fan of oil paintings because her loose brush strokes mix well with the buttery texture of oil paint. Her work combines a love of realism with personal allegories that are open to individual interpretations. Deshapande is best known for her psychological portraits and narrative paintings. The Portrait Society of America and RayMar Art have recognized her art numerous times. Now, Stephanie teaches classes and workshops in both Teaching Studios of Art in Long Island and the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey.
