Artist Statement

On the underlying intent of my abstractions:

Our awesome universe seems to me to be a combination of order and chaos, one often replacing the other.  We see it in outer space, on our own planet, in our daily lives.  Interesting to me is the fact that our continual striving for order has created the accomplishments of our civilization, in spite of the constant threats of chaos.
