The Alfa Art Gallery is pleased to announce our upcoming exhibition “Small Artworks.” All works shown will be of a small format (no larger than 12″ x 12″ 2D or 12″ x 12″ x 12″ 3D), and will be of an affordable price, which makes wonderful and unique presents for loved ones this holiday season. Although the works may be small, the talent of the artists certainly is not. Artists are limited by space when working in small format, and cannot rely on giant monumental forms to attract the viewer. However, the demureness and honesty of this small works are often worth the attention. Alfa visitors coming to view the newest group of small format artists will certainly not be disappointed, as these artists lure the viewers into their expertly created realms. Visitors will be transported to these realms through aesthetically pleasing compositions, full of vibrant colors and curving lines. Each of these artists has mastered a variety of media from classic oil on canvas, to modern interactive sculptures of woven copper wire. This cornucopia of works creates a symbiotic group that is sure to awe visitors.
