About the Exhibition
Join us for the annual New Brunswick Art Salon (NBAS) at Alfa Art Gallery, where we celebrate the diverse expressions of visual art. This edition of NBAS will showcase captivating works in oil, sculpture, and mixed media. Alfa Art Gallery, situated at 108 Church Street in the heart of New Brunswick, serves as a cultural hub for artists in New Jersey and beyond. We believe in the transformative power of visual art, fostering a connection between artists and the community.
This non-profit gallery is proudly sponsored by the New Brunswick City Market, with generous support from organizations such as Amboy Bank, Johnson & Johnson, Magyar Bank, Middlesex County Cultural and Heritage Commission, New Brunswick City Center, Merck Pharmaceutical, GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceutical, and The Bank of Princeton.
Alfa Art Gallery embraces virtual exhibitions through Artsteps virtual gallery software. We will continue to host virtual exhibitions alongside physical displays, with both formats sharing simultaneous receptions on the same date, creating a unique experience for our audience. Zoom will be our platform of choice for virtual receptions and artist interviews.
Submission Requirements
- An artist can submit any number of pieces—the more the better!
- Students and faculty members of universities and neighboring schools are encouraged to participate.
- We consider both professional and emerging artist’s submissions.
- To enter for consideration, please fill out our “Portfolio Submission Form” and follow the submission instructions listed in it.
- There is NO ENTRY FEE.
- Oil, sculpture, and mixed media pieces only please!
