About Tammy Kushnir
Tammy Kushnir has been an artist her whole life. She finds her passion in her creations . She is currently licensed with Roaring Brook Art and works with Oopsy Daisy designing art for children and teens. One of her works can also be seen at Crate & Kids, a division of Crate &Barrel, under wall décor. Her artwork has been seen in various brick– and –mortar and online gallery shows. She is currently a member of Twenty-Two Gallery. She resides in Chalfont, PA with her husband and two teen sons.
Artist Statement
I create to find joy within myself and hopefully extend that to others through colors and impressions of paint. I want to stimulate the viewer emotionally as well as through physical interaction through the texture in the art. My landscapes focus on emotions common to all and my interpretation of that. My abstracts are often buried in environmental themes using materials in different ways to bring textures alive as well as reminding the viewer we need to work together to see the reality of the Earth as it is and begin the healing process .
