He is passionate about his work and the idea that art can be a means for personal expression, communication, and an outlet to react to the world. Fenton’s work is figurative and very painterly, and he chooses his subjects with deliberation. He works in a variety of genres ranging from Korean folk painting to realism and expressionism. Fenton paints his subjects in ways that give them character and personality.
