Patricia Hynes sits down for an interview with Alfa Art. She has a Master’s degree in fine arts and a Bachelor’s in Arts. Patricia is retired for 10 years now and since her retirement she has been a full-time painter. Hynes’ works are mainly encapsulating hard to capture moments in ordinary people’s lives which are often found to be crucial in portraying a painting’s dynamic. They are usually found in natural settings and aim at challenging the viewers perception of their everyday lives. She believes that people all have different reactions to different/same stimuli which makes her paintings subjects come from virtually any background. In her interview she shares how she fell in love with oil painting and talks about her inspiration and the concepts behind her art.
