Nature is at the heart of the inspiration for this versatile artist, who favors painting en plein air and carries her abstract realism style across a range of media. Indira’s art is an expression of joy. “I am stimulated by the ever-changing light, color and shapes presented in the natural canvas of nature and the sheer range of contrast and color all around me”, she explains. “My art is an attempt to capture the fleeting moments of beauty in everyday life.”
Indira exhibits her Art in various local and International Juried Shows and Exhibitions. She recently participated in the Malvern Retreat House Show and the Art Gallery at Devon Show. Indira has over ten year of experience teaching watercolors in all levels. She is actively involved in the local Art happenings. She served on the Board of The Delaware Valley Art League, PA and is a member of the Philadelphia Watercolor Society and the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society. Indira takes up commissioned paintings and also paints portraits of humans and pets. She can be contacted for commissions and private classes as well.
