Dorothy Siclare sits down for an interview with Alfa Art Gallery. Siclare is featured in the 2013 “A Summer Pavilion” exhibition and in our most recent 2020 “Encounter” Oil and Mixed Media exhibition. Dorothy Siclare discusses her immaculate artwork and how she is inpsired. Throughout her life, she has been making art and had seven years of portrait, composition and color theory classes, to enhance her artistic skills. Her new profound interest in art such as, abstraction, depicts her sense of peace. Influenced by bold colors, her paintings also portrays the truth, as well as her subjects’ soul. Through her art, she hopes to evoke strong feelings from her viewers.
