Biography 
Richard Doerr has been interested in photography since 1971. He has worked in 35mm film, medium format, and digital. A retired school teacher, he has developed his skills under the teaching of Loren Fisher and Mike Moats. As president of the Raritan Photographic Society, he has developed a speakers program that has featured many professional photographers willing to share their knowledge.
Artist Statement
As a photographer, I am always looking for new ways to capture and represent my interpretation of our fascinating world. I have been using both Canon and Sony digital cameras in my travels. I have had my work exhibited at Alfa Gallery, the Raritan Bay Gallery at the Venetian Rehabilitation Center and the Somerset County Adult Day Care Center. I now serve as the president of the Raritan Photographic Society.
