Angles at Sculpture ShowRichard Baer bought his first camera almost fifty years ago and has been shooting landscapes and cityscapes ever since. His work has been exhibited at numerous New Jersey venues, including Morris County Library and Paper Mill Playhouse, where he received Awards of Excellence.

Rick continues to work on his craft, studying with Bruce Barnbaum and at the New Jersey Center For Visual Arts and the International Center For Photography in New York. He works primarily in digital but started his lifelong photography passion on 35 millimeter before progressing to medium and large format.

A successful space planner when not shooting photos, Rick brings a keen sense of spacial relationships to his work, as well as a unique visual perspective. He finds photography to be a release from the stresses of everyday life and never forgets how much fun it really is.
