Julie Lang graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2013 with a BFA in Professional Photographic Illustration, specifically Fine Art Photography and Journalism. She is currently working as a freelance photographer in Sayerville, NJ. Her images frequently play with the concept of control, or the lack thereof. Lang attempts to capture scenes from a high-elevation vantage point in order to suggest smallness. In this suggestion, Lang further explores the possibility that all scenes might be mirages, even those that we identify as reality.
