Artist Statement
I have embraced watercolor since serendipitously taking a class with Elizabeth Horowitz in 2001. I enjoy watercolor’s challenge of trying to accomplish something interesting which caught my eye, a sight that I have never attempted to paint before.
I have had success painting people’s homes, having painted over 50 houses for gifts, as a remembrance or their current home which they enjoy.
I graduated the School of Advertising Art, attended both NY and NJ Schools of Visual Arts, DuCret Center of Art, studied with the premier artists of New Jersey Carl W. Burger and Edwin Havas, and on location in Sicily with Valerie Larko. I am a signature member of the Garden State watercolor Society, the Drew Art Association, past president and current treasurer of the Essex Watercolor Club where I have made many friends to share and enhance our talents.
