Jeri Greenberg expresses emotional landscapes and intense color through her use of pastels, which are seen in her newest series, entitled “Reflections.” She earned her BA in Illustration at the Parsons School of Design in New York City and took classes at the School of Visual Arts and the Visual Arts Center of NJ. Greenberg has earned numerous accolades in the New Jersey area, including M-SHAC juried awards for her work. Her favorite medium of choice is pastels because of the purity and fluidity of the colors. Greenberg depicts real life stories through scenes of nature and portraits that possess raw feelings. She believes that colors play a vital role in the world and release a sense of electricity within her painting.
