Artist Statement
My irrational fear of failure is what drives me the most. While it seems counterintuitive, one of the most significant things I have learned about art making is that avoiding risks can bring more failure than success. As such, I strive to avoid creating art that feels “comfortable” and instead look to make bold and potentially risky decisions within my work.
