About Diane Revels
A versatile artist with a passion for design and color, Diane is a graphic designer and award winning painter. Her career has centered around the consumer packaged goods industry in NYC and NJ. Currently, living in Bernardsville, Diane grew up in Northeastern Ohio.
She received her BFA from Ohio University and studied painting in Florence, Italy. A signature member of the NJ Pastel Society, the Center for Contemporary Art, The Visual Art Center of Summit and ArtSpace Studio, Diane continues to paint in both oil and pastel and push boundaries with various media and techniques.

Artists Statement
Painting is a story without end, a mystery without any clues. The blank page is infinite, a puzzle longing to be solved. Color provides weight and dimension. Line and shape spark energy, becoming characters, breathing life into the canvas. Light and shadow soften the focus, creating mystery. Questions remain; the end is only just out of sight.
