Kassandra Ibrahim is a rising Junior at Fordham University studying Art History and Italian Studies with a minor in Orthodox Christian Studies and a concentration in Catholic Studies. She is interested in how religion and art history influence one another in her coursework and how they inspire later art movements. Kassandra is drawn towards Italian Renaissance and Baroque art as well as Impressionist works. As a Curatorial Intern at Alfa, she is responsible for writing curatorial notes and press releases, recruiting and interviewing new artists, and collaborating with other curatorial interns to ensure the success of each exhibition. Kassandra is passionate about the interaction between art institutions and the viewing public as a means of exploring modern art and culture.
