About this Exhibition
Alfa Art Gallery will be hosting a special solo exhibition of the gallery’s founder, Vesselin Kourtev. The opening of “Footprints in Space” will be held on March 28th, 2015 at 108 Church Street, New Brunswick, NJ.
This exhibition will display a retrospective of paintings exemplifying Kourtev’s evolution as an artist over his 20-year career. With chosen works from his portfolio of artistic cycles, the exhibition will include oil paint, watercolor, and mixed media. Kourtev’s art has been described as impressionistic abstraction due to his unique colorist approach. Specific works personify these qualities such as his intricate face imprints, and the manipulation of oil paint as a transparent instrument.
Admission to this event is free and open to the public. The exhibition will host live music and refreshments will be served.
