The Small Format Group Exhibition that debuted at the Alfa Art Gallery on November 30, 2012 is ecstatic about its temporary relocation to George Street Playhouse on January 29th. The Small Format Group Exhibition will be on display during George Street Playhouse’s theatrical run of “Good People”. The subject matter of each artist’s works varies from a focus on objects and figures to abstract art. Featured artists include: Agop Gemdjian, Alyce Gottesman, Colleen Gahrmann, Dion Hitchings, Francesca Azzara, Hana Aviv, Jo Bradney, Joanie San Chirico, Ken Hamilton, Lea Cattan, Miklos Sipos, Nanci Hersh, Tatiana L.Sougakova, and Alfa Art Gallery’s own founder Vesselin Kourtev.
The collection is filled with vibrant colors that catch the eye. The artists capture an enhance outlook on imagery with the usage of color and technique.
Many of the artists will be available to discuss their works with GSP patrons on Thursday, February 7 at 1pm, prior to the 2pm matinee.
