About Emily Arenberg

Emily Arenberg finds the artwork this universe provides, whether it’s found in the ocean, or the mountains, or a passing cloud formation. A child of the shore, the water and environment have influenced her from a young age. Her keen eyes spot the beauty sprinkled around her, and her steady hands record these instances of splendor with paint. She works with oil, acrylic, and epoxy resin to transpose the nuances of the world’s masterpiece onto whatever surface she deems her canvas. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Marymount Manhattan College in New York, with a concentration in Painting and a minor in Art History. Along with oil, she uses acrylics and epoxy resin. She participated in group exhibitions at the Hewitt Gallery of Art, Brandywine Music and Arts Collective, and through RAW Artists in Brooklyn, New York, and San Diego. In 2020, Cape May Magazine published an interview on her ocean resin artwork.

Artist Statement

Go to the ocean, go to the mountains. Drive through fields and really look at the clouds every now and then. The light, reflections, and the way the colors all complement each other. It is there, you find the real art work this universe provides. I am just lucky enough to grab some of the nuances of the master piece around us. What else is there besides creating from the moment you are in?
