Born and raised in Mexico in a bicultural family (USA-Mexico). She received a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from the Allende Institute, a graduate degree in Art Therapy from the University of Barcelona, and an MFA from SUNY Purchase with a Deans Merit Scholarship. Beneficiary of a FONCA Mexican National grant.

Along with art production, she has always taught art to diferent ages and levels, from middle school to higher education. In her art and educational work there is always a unique perspective and a universal stance that has emerged from her background the New York avant-garde and the fascinating folklore of Mexican culture. Her work has been shown in individual and group exhibitions in Mexico, the United States and Barcelona.
