Emily Fornof graduated from Tulane University in 2020 with her BA in Art History, BS in Economics, and a minor in Studio Art, focused on Printmaking. Through recruitment and interviews with artists, Emily worked to find all that the artists can bring into the space. She then translated this into words through writing and editing catalogue notes, recording videos on artists for the opening receptions, and deciding which artworks merit recognition in the NBAS Salon Awards. Emily also designed the Art Steps Virtual Exhibitions for both Lifted and Configured Personas, creating a cohesive and engaging space for viewers to see a completed collection of the works. She joined Alfa for curatorial experience which she plans to use in her future career in Arts Administration. Concentrating on modern and contemporary art, Emily hopes to continue to share the possibilities of art with others in accessible and innovating ways.
