About Patricia Worley

Patricia Worley is a New Jersey–based photographer whose passion for capturing the world through a lens began in high school and grew throughout her college years, where she earned a degree in film and television. After pausing her artistic career to raise her children, she returned to photography with renewed dedication. She went on to study landscape photography with master photographers worldwide, traveling to more than 35 countries and most of the United States to refine her skills.

Alongside her own creative practice, Patricia is passionate about teaching. She teaches everything from camera basics to advanced editing, helping students develop a more thoughtful and innovative way of seeing.

Her work reflects a lifelong curiosity about the natural world. Early in her career, Patricia explored landscapes and scenes from around the world. However, in recent years, she has shifted her focus toward wildlife and the night sky. Her nightscape photography captures the beauty of the stars while highlighting the challenges posed by increasing light pollution.

Inspired by countless nights spent beneath star-filled skies, Patricia’s work encourages viewers to pause, look up, and remember the importance of preserving the night’s natural beauty for future generations.

Artist Statement:

“Quite simply, I want the viewer to feel as if they could step through the frame of my photographs and become part of the scene. I strive to transform this two-dimensional medium into a three-dimensional experience. The subject and message of each image are chosen to deepen the viewer’s emotional connection to the work.”
