Most children are fascinated with the paranormal and supernatural, Nadejda Korcheva was inexplicably drawn in by the “magic that occurred in the photo lab” at her school. To Korcheva, there is something magical about the rare opportunity for self-expression that photography offers. Whereas most children outgrow their unrealistic enthralment with magic, Korcheva turned hers into a reality.
Korcheva was employed by Tenev Information Agency, where she was afforded the opportunity to publish her photography. She worked as a sports advertising photographer and was published in various newspapers and magazines. Her work has been displayed in various exhibitions.
To Korcheva, photography is just as personal as it is visual. All her photographs are taken with the intent of transmitting emotion and color. She sees photography as the ultimate intersection of craftsmanship and technology.
