BIOGRAPHY

Lanre Buraimoh is a Nigerian born who is the son of two contemporary artists, Chief Jimoh Buraimoh and Alake Buraimoh. He was first trained by his parents and he also graduated from AMBROS Ali University with a degree in business administration. His work reflects heavy influence from both his parents and the Yoruba society. He creates beautiful modern West African Art that express Yoruba culture; animals, tradition, beliefs, love and unity through his bead painting techniques and the use of Yoruba symbols. Mr. Buraimoh had also held art workshops for people of all ages. He has won many awards, honors and international recognitions. He is known for his unique and simplistic use of color and beads in his paintings.
