About Christina Argonish

Christina Argonish is an FIT educated artist with an Associates of Applied Science in Textile and Surface design. She is skilled in many artistic applications including digital media applications such as Photoshop, hand screen printing, and studio art. She currently sells her art at the New Brunswick community farmers market.

Argonish is a mixed media artists who uses ink, gouache and watercolor and collage to create her works. She creates art out of desire to add more beauty to the world. Her work is light and whimsical, employing many typically feminine motifs such as the female form and flora. Argonish states that art has been “a saving grace” throughout her life. She receives great joy in sharing her work with loved ones as well as strangers.

Assistant Fabric Research & Development Coordinator. September 2016-September 2017.

– Acted as the intermediary between off-shore mills and in-house designers.

– Developed new fabrications, and followed them through fabric pre-testing.

– Maintained the company fabric library.

– Attended Cotton Incorporated workshops as well as NYC fabric trade shows.

              I’m Tina Argonish, a New Jersey based Textile & Surface Designer. I create artwork using ink, gouache & watercolor. Art has been a saving grace throughout my life.
