Anthony Viti is a Painting and Art History teacher at the Mason Gross School of the Arts. He also is a professional artist who lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. Anthony Viti’s work has been exhibited in solo shows at Deven Golden Fine Arts and Tibor De Nagy Gallery, NYC. His work has been represented in group exhibitions in Buenos Aires; Neue Gesellschaft für Bildende Kunst, Berlin; Tyler School of Art, Philadelphia; the Washington Project for the Arts, Washington, D.C. and at White Columns and the Amy Lipton and Fishbach Galleries, NYC. His work has drawn comment in reviews and articles by Laurie Fitzpatrick, Frank Wagner, Donald Kuspit and David Hirsh. His work is in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and he’s received grants from the Penny McCall Foundation, Art Matters, Inc., and CHANGE INC.
