Aaron Turner is a photographer who was born in Memphis, Tennessee. He attended Ohio University, where he studied photojournalism, as well as commercial photography. Turner’s images are typically removed candid moments, leaning towards portraitist tendencies. Turner is currently working toward an MFA at Rutgers University, where he is exploring the fuller realm of artistic possibility available to the photographer. His recent images toy with the concept of reflection and space: these works are the re-photographed version of photographs. In reconstructing the environment, Turner portrays the same image in a different proverbial light.
