Water Abstraction - Reflections in the Stream. I'm looking for moments of 'abstract expression' in the tumble of water over rock and moss. Speculars highlight the contours painted by a blur of foaming water revealing the symmetries beneath the roiling surface. A faster exposure begins to freeze some of the slower moving bubbles within the boiling water, Taken in the Bearswamp Creek behind my home during Covid lock-down.

I'm looking for moments of 'abstract expressionism' in the tumble of water over rock and moss, and amazed at how sunlight sketches both the surface and interior details of the water. Specular highlights define a confusion of flows within this detail of the stream, which is rendered almost plastic by the length of exposure. Taken in the Bearswamp Creek behind my home during Covid lock-down.
