DESCRIPTION:Exhibition: January 10- January 29 Opening reception: January 10th – 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm \nThe Alfa Art Gallery is proud to present its fourth annual Photography exhibition\, “New Brunswick in The Eyes of Photographers”\, in cooperation with New Brunswick City Market. This Photography Exhibition is a part of the New Brunswick Art Salon series\, in which Alfa invites established and emerging artists to present their works as a tangible presentation of their artistic expression. This winter\, we invited photographers to open the audience towards their images of New Brunswick\, a cultural and diverse city with various perspectives and viewpoints. \nPhotography as a medium is especially powerful. A photograph holds nothing but the truth\, images that can only be tampered with so much. These series of photographs\, dedicated to the city of New Brunswick\, provide a different perspective to a city that is enriched by the citizens that inhabit it. While some photographs do not particularly feature New Brunswick\, these photographs are just a small example of the artistic integrity that emerges from a city that harbors such diversity. \nWe are proud to include an eclectic mix of artists\, new and experienced\, local and international. This salon will feature a “Best in Show” award along with 2nd and 3rd place prizes. Jurors this year will include seasoned art critics Greg Ritter and Nat Clymer.
