DESCRIPTION:“Free Form” Group Exhibition featuring professional artists and art educators of New Jersey \nExhibition duration – March 15 – April 29 \n Exhibition Opening Reception – March 17\, 2017 – 6:30 – 9:30pm \nMarch 17th Event Schedule:\n\nWelcoming Official Guests: 6:30 – 6:45 PM\nExhibition Opening Presentation: 6:45 – 7:00 PM\nNinth Anniversary Celebration Remarks: 7:00 – 7:15 PM\nAwards Ceremony for NBAS’ 2016 Winners: 7:15 – 7:30 PM\nLive Music and Refreshments at 7:30 – 9:30 PM\n\n  \nAlfa Art Gallery is pleased to present “Free Form” Group Exhibition featuring the professional artists and art educators of New Jersey\, including many artists from the Arts Council of Princeton (ACP). This exhibition will exclusively showcase these well-established artists who can bring their knowledge and artistic visions to the New Brunswick and Alfa Art Gallery audience. In the past\, Arts Council of Princeton has collaborated with Alfa Art Gallery to present art instructors at ACP and provide an unique opportunity for the New Brunswick community by exploring new ideas\, opportunities\, and art forms. \nOur featured artists include: Eva Mantell\, Libby Ramage\, Dorothea Berkhout\, Charles David Viera\, Scott Wright\, Joel Rudin\, Andrew Werth\, Krysia Kolodziej\, Karen Titus Smith\, and Arlene Milgram \nThe March 17th event will involve a brief introductory presentation of our current exhibition and featured artists\, presented by the gallery’s curatorial interns. In addition\, there will be Ninth Anniversary Celebration Remarks and Awards Ceremony for the winners of the 2016 New Brunswick Art Salon juried by Rocco Scary. \nThe Alfa Art Gallery is dedicated to the discovery and support of emerging and established artists. We believe that visual art is an universal form of expression which can bridge cultural gaps within our community and provide a forum for diverse voices to be heard. Alfa was established in 2008 and has exhibited over 500 artists and hosted multi-disciplinary artistic events such as music\, poetry\, and dancing and  became  a cultural hub of New Brunswick. \nWe invite you to please join us in our efforts to strengthen our community and positively impact the lives of local residents through the arts.
