DESCRIPTION:Virtual Exhibition on Display: June 9\, 2020 – August 1\, 2020    \n \nClosing Reception: July 31 \nAlfa Art Gallery is excited to announce the New Brunswick Art Salon 2020 Oil and Mixed Media Exhibition: “Encounters”.   \nThis virtual exhibition\, which is fully accessible through Alfa’s website\, will showcase the work of local and international artists. The compilation of various oil paintings demonstrates the versatility of this medium.    \nUsing oil paint as a vehicle\, the artists let us explore encounters they’ve had with the world around them\, their impressions of it\, abstractions of it\, and beyond. Because of the diverse display of oil paintings\, each viewer can find a work that they can connect with.  \nFeatured Artists: Dorothy Siclare\, Jamie Greenfield\, Ogunlesi Paul\, Patricia Hynes\, Paul Fuentes\, Stephanie Deshpande\, Todd Doney\, Kathleen Shaver\, and Allison Lewis. \nAbout the “New Brunswick Art Salon” Exhibitions: \n“New Brunswick Art Salon” aims to unite those who appreciate art and culture within the tri-state area and beyond\, providing a creative hub of guidance and encouragement for artists. Thus\, its exhibitions are always free and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday\, from 11 AM to 6 PM.  \nNBAS’2020 is sponsored by: \nWith the assistance of grants from organizations such as Amboy Bank\, Magyar Bank\, Johnson & Johnson\, New Brunswick City Center\, Middlesex Country Cultural and Heritage Commission\, Bristol Myers Squibb\, and Pfizer Inc.
