Ulf Koenig studied physics and finished with a PhD in engineers from schools in Germany. During his prospective employements, he would take various business trips which allowed him the time to venture off to famous art museums worldwide. After his retirement, Ulf turned completely to art with a focus on wall sculptures in rigorous angular or organic geometry and in primary color schemes. His work is influenced by the Netherlands‘constructivists Piet Mondrian and Theo van Doesburg, and also by the American and Canadian structurists Charles Biederman and Eli Bornstein. Currently residing in Germany, Ulf continue to work as a freelance artist, showing in several exhibitions across the world. He is a member of the Artists’ Guild of Ulm, Germany.
