Bruce Garrity received his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from University of Delaware and his Master of Fine Arts from the University of the Arts. From there, he went on to teach at the University of Delaware, the NJ School of the Arts, Rowan University, and Rutgers University. Throughout his career, Bruce’s work has been exhibited in many solo and group shows. His current aesthetic is focused on the woodland interior as a site for events that stem from memories of experiences throughout the subject’s lifetime. His paintings emphasize the uncanny aspects of these moments.
