Anastasia Mancuso started painting after she retired in 2007. She has studied at the Visual Art Center and the Performing Art Center in New Jersey. Anastasia gets inspiration from her many travels, from which she paints her experiences. In order to remain familiar with the doings of various other painters, she has been president of both M-SHAC, as well as the Roxbury Art Association. In addition, she spent time volunteering at several art clubs. Through these experiences, she has continued to learn and has remained cognizant of current artists’ works. Anastasia has showcased award-winning pieces at the Art Association of Roxbury’s Annual Exhibition, as well as the Millburn-Short Hills Art Center at Overlook Hospital.
